Post-doctoral Associate position in Marine Spatial Epidemiology, National Institute for Ocean Science, France
The National Institute for Ocean Science (Ifremer) is an integrated marine sciences research institute, which contributes to national research and innovation, as well as to the European research landscape. The Marine Invertebrate Health Adaptation Unit (ASIM) conducts projects related to i) the study of diseases affecting marine mollusks; ii) the detection and study of disease outbreaks; iii) host adaptation to these diseases (resistance development and associated determinism). The postdoctoral position is funded by an ANR JCJC project named IDEAL. You will work on quantifying the contribution of genomic analyses to the understanding of marine pathogen spread and identification of drivers. You will be specialized in spatial and molecular epidemiology and aim at exploring relevant contrasting scenarios to compare and integrate together spatio-statistical and phylogeographic models to detect factor impacts on pathogen spatial distribution and spread.

Post-doctoral Research Associate position in AMR, Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine
We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher to join our research team at the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine to develop antimicrobial resistance (AMR) dashboards for rural and regional veterinary practices. This is a USDA-funded position. This project will produce a publicly available dashboard and webpage that will provide aggregated summaries of antimicrobial resistance and susceptibilities of important bacteria for both livestock and companion animals on a monthly and annual basis. Such AMR dashboards will provide information on antimicrobial susceptibility data that can support decision-making in antimicrobial stewardship.
