AccelNet Toxo: A Global Toxoplasmosis Network of Networks

International Exchanges

Diverse Team of Specialists work in Advanced Lab

Apply to train in a partner lab or organization within the network of networks

To strengthen STEM workforce development and international collaboration, our AccelNet program will fund approximately six exchange visits for postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, or early/established researchers among partner network labs/organizations. These exchanges will focus on advancing knowledge in T. gondii ecology, epidemiology, and detection methods across diverse global research environments. Priority for supporting exchanges will be given to trainees at the postdoctoral or graduate student levels. To identify the participants in these 1-3 week exchange visits, we're asking all interested postdocs/students to complete the form below before April 1st, 2026. Proposed exchanges will be selected for funding on a rolling basis, and any proposed exchange visit must be completed by July 15th, 2026.

Participants funded through this exchange program will be expected to provide a brief report following their visit to help network members understand the impact on professional development for each participant and to enhance future exchange opportunities across networks. If you have any questions, please reach out to Liz VanWormer (liz.vanwormer@unl.edu).
