Abbey enjoys working for Nebraska One Health, because it allows her to combine her love for animals and nature with her art and design skills. She maintains the Nebraska One Health website, designs outreach materials, illustrates artwork for the Nebraska One Health Illustration Series, and helps in the planning stakeholder meetings and outreach events. Aside from Nebraska One Health, she also designs for a number of other programs around UNL and partnering organizations including: the Native American Coalition, Buy Fresh Buy Local, Nebraska Double Up Food Bucks, UNL Wildlife Damage Management, UNL Herpetology, the Birth Defects and Water Study, and the Nebraska Harvest of the Month program.
